HIV RT-IN-2 is a HIV reverse transcriptase inhibitor with an IC50 value of 1.2 μM for HIV-1 RT RNA-dependent DNA polymerase. HIV RT-IN-2 potently inhibits all three modes of HIV-1 RT-associated RNase H activity (internal, 3'-DNA directed, 5'-RNA directed cleavage) and inhibits HIV-1 replication. HIV RT-IN-2 can be used for the research of HIV-1 infection[1].

HIV RT-IN-2 (Compound 10y) 可强效抑制 HIV-1 RT 相关 RNase H 活性的全部三种作用模式 (内部切割、3'-DNA 介导切割、5'-RNA 介导切割)，IC50 值为0.65-1.5 μM；同时可抑制纯化的 HIV-1 RNase H 结构域片段，对应的 IC50 为 1.3 μM[1]。
HIV RT-IN-2 可抑制 HIV-1 RT 的 RNA 依赖性 DNA 聚合酶活性，其 IC50 为 1.2 μM[1]。
HIV RT-IN-2 对 HIV-1 整合酶链转移活性无显著抑制作用，其 IC50 大于 100 μM[1]。
HIV RT-IN-2 (10y) (30 μM; 10 min) 可强效抑制 HIV-1 RT 相关的 RNase H 活性：当仅与 RT 预孵育时，抑制率达 97%；当与 RT 和 MgCl2 预孵育时，抑制率为 79%；但在底物过量条件下加入预形成的 RT-底物复合物时，其效力降低，抑制率仅为 14%[1]。
HIV RT-IN-2 (10y) (30 μM; 10 min) 在逆转录酶 (RT) 过量 (类病毒颗粒) 的条件下可强效抑制 HIV-1 RT 相关的 RNase H 活性；当仅与 RT 预孵育时，抑制率为 92%，当加入预形成的 RT-底物复合物时，抑制率为 80%[1]。
