IMP-1002 is a Plasmodium N-myristoyltransferase (NMT) inhibitor. IMP-1002 inhibits myristoylation activity, blocks parasite development. IMP-1002 can be used for the research of malaria[1].

IMP-1002 (0.54-400 nM; 96 h) 可强效抑制恶性疟原虫 (P. falciparum) 3D7 红细胞期寄生虫的生长，经 96 h 处理后的 EC50 为 34 ± 5.8 nM[1]。
IMP-1002 (140 nM) 可抑制入侵后 36-45 h 窗口期内 P. falciparum 3D7 WT 虫体的蛋白质肉豆蔻酰化，但不会抑制 PfNMT[G386E] 克隆株的肉豆蔻酰化[1]。
IMP-1002 (140 nM; 45 h) 可在入侵后 45 h 的处理周期内诱导恶性疟原虫 (P. falciparum) 3D7 野生型 (WT) 虫株发生发育停滞，但无法使 PfNMT[G386E] 克隆株的发育停滞[1]。
