Matricarin is a sesquiterpene lactone antioxidant with ferric ion reducing antioxidant power activity. Matricarin exhibits free radical scavenging activity. Matricarin induces growth inhibition. Matricarin can be used in the research of ovarian cancer and renal cancer[1].
