生物活性

PABA/NO is an anticancer agent. PABA/NO exhibits cytotoxicity against a variety of tumor cells. PABA/NO reacts with glutathione to produce biologically active nitric oxide. PABA/NO has low water solubility. PABA/NO can be used in the research of ovarian cancer, colon cancer, melanoma, renal cancer, etc[1].

Result: Exhibited a mean GI50 of 9.8 μM, mean TGI of 33 μM, and mean LC50 of 69 μM across all 51 cell lines.
Showed GI50 of 2.0 μM, TGI of 5.3 μM, and LC50 of 19 μM in colon HCT-15 cells.
Exhibited GI50 of 1.9 μM, TGI of 4.4 μM, and LC50 of 10 μM in melanoma LOXIMVI cells.
Showed GI50 of 2.6 μM, TGI of 6.9 μM, and LC50 of 2.6 μM in ovarian OVCAR-3 cells.
Exhibited GI50 of 1.8 μM, TGI of 4.0 μM, and LC50 of 8.9 μM in renal CAKI-1 cells.
