Peptide HRH is a polypeptide that specifically binds to VEGF receptors. Peptide HRH inhibits VEGF-stimulated endothelial cell proliferation. Peptide HRH inhibits angiogenesis and suppresses corneal neovascularization. Peptide HRH can be used in anti-angiogenesis related studies[1].

Peptide HRH (10-50 μg/μL; local application to CAM; 48 h) 在鸡胚 CAM 模型中呈剂量依赖性抑制血管生成[1]。

Animal Model: Sprague-Dawley (male, alkali-burned corneal model)[1]
Dosage: 10 μg/μL
Administration: topical eye drops; four times per day; 14 days
Result: Significantly reduced corneal neovascularization area from days 3 to 14 post-burn.
Kept most of the corneal stroma free of blood vessels.
Animal Model: Sprague-Dawley (male, suture-induced corneal model)[1]
Dosage: 10 μg/μL
Administration: topical eye drops; four times per day; 14 days
Result: Significantly reduced maximum vessel length and total corneal neovascularization area from days 3 to 14 post-suture.
