Animal Model: New Zealand White male rabbits (3.0-3.5 kg)[3]
Dosage: 200 μg
Administration: i.c.v., single dose
Result: Caused rectal temperature to gradually start to rise and a prolonged fever after 30 min.
Exhibited a maximum rise in the rectal temperature for 4 h after injection.
Did not induce any changes in the blood cell counts or plasma trace metal levels.
