RX-RA-69 is an orally active platelet phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitor with a IC50 of 1 nM. RX-RA-69 elevates cAMP levels in platelets, exerts anti-aggregatory effects, and inhibits the formation of coronary platelet thrombi. RX-RA-69 exhibits anti-metastatic activity in a mouse Lewis lung cancer model. RX-RA-69 can be used in research related to coronary platelet thrombi and Lewis lung cancer[1][2].

Animal Model: Mongrel dogs (either sex, weight 19.5-29.0 kg, modified Folts model)[1]
Dosage: 60 μg/kg (i.v. bolus); 120 μg/kg (i.v. bolus); 1.0 ng/kg/min (i.c. infusion); 3.0 ng/kg/min (i.c. infusion); 10.0 ng/kg/min (i.c. infusion)
Administration: i.v. (single bolus); i.c. (infusion, 30 min)
Result: Reduced the resistance of blood vessels throughout the body, resulting in a systemic decrease in blood pressure.
Increased myocardial contractility (increase the maximum ascending rate of left ventricular pressure).
