生物活性

Tetramethylfluthrin is an insecticide with potent activity against Aedes albopictus. Tetramethylfluthrin contributes to rapid Aedes albopictus population reduction when deployed via unmanned aerial vehicle cold mist spray. Tetramethylfluthrin exerts a knock-down effect and exhibits high toxicity to target insects. Tetramethylfluthrin can be used for the research of dengue fever and dengue hemorrhagic fever[1].

Tetramethylfluthrin (采用无人机挂载冷雾喷雾施药，剂量 0.9-1.8 mg/m2) 在剂量为 1.8 mg/m2 时，可在 25 分钟内使白纹伊蚊种群数量减少 90% 以上；处理后 1 天，成蚊总数量减少 79.8%，雄蚊数量减少 100%，且这种部分抑制效果至少可持续 2 天；在剂量为 0.9 mg/m2 时，处理后 1 天雌蚊数量减少 66.9%，但到第 2 天恢复至原有水平[1]。

Animal Model: Aedes albopictus[1]
Dosage: 0.9 mg/m2; 1.8 mg/m2
Administration: UAV-mounted cold mist spray; single dose (at peak mosquito activity 1810-1830 h)
Result: Reduced female Aedes albopictus abundance by 66.9% at 1 day posttreatment, with populations recovering to pretreatment levels by 2 days posttreatment (0.9 mg/m2).
Reduced total adult Aedes albopictus populations by 94.8% at 25 minutes posttreatment, 79.8% at 1 day posttreatment, and 39.3% at 2 days posttreatment (1.8 mg/m2).
Reduced female Aedes albopictus populations by 90.7% at 25 minutes posttreatment, 66.9% at 1 day posttreatment, and 9.2% at 2 days posttreatment (1.8 mg/m2).
Reduced male Aedes albopictus populations by 100% at 25 minutes and 1 day posttreatment, and 87.7% at 2 days posttreatment (1.8 mg/m2).
