U-78517 dihydrochloride, a Trolox (HY-101445) analog, is a potent antioxidant. U-78517 dihydrochloride inhibits DCVC (HY-19717)-induced lipid peroxidation, scavenges DPPH, oxygen- and nitrogen-based free radicals. U-78517 dihydrochloride attenuates hypoxic injury in iaolated cardiac myocytes. U-78517 dihydrochloride can be used for the research of hypoxic injury, cerebral ischemia, and cardiovascular disease[1][2][3].

U-78517 (compound U-78517F) (100 µM;0-3 小时) dihydrochloride 完全抑制 DCVC 诱导的脂质过氧化,但未能减轻兔肾皮质切片的细胞损伤[1]
U-78517F (0.3-3 μM;90 分钟) dihydrochloride 可维持肌膜完整性,减轻缺氧诱导的新生大鼠心肌细胞肌酸激酶和乳酸脱氢酶的释放 (EC50 = 1.7 μM),但不能防止 ATP 耗竭[2]
