生物活性

UE2316 is an orally active and specific 11βHSD1 inhibitor. UE2316 significantly improves glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity in uremic rats. UE2316 also exacerbates hepatic fibrosis in mice. UE2316 can be used in the research of diseases such as hepatic fibrosis, uremia and diabetes mellitus[1][2].

Animal Model: Wistar (male, 7 weeks old, Adenine (HY-B0152)-induced uremia)[1]
Dosage: 20 mg/kg
Administration: s.c. minipump; daily; 2 weeks
Result: Significantly improved glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity in adenine-fed rats.
Showed no effect on renal failure parameters.
Animal Model: C57Bl/6J (male, adult, carbon tetrachloride-induced)[2]
Dosage: 0.15% (in chow diet)
Administration: oral; 12-weeks
Result: Exacerbates liver fibrosis.
Delayed scar resolution.
Reduced plasma ALT and AST levels.
