Nearly monodisperse Dy₂Sn₂O₇ materials have been prepared VIA a one-step hydrothermal method by changing the pH of the reaction solution. The nanoparticles were used for sonocatalytic degradation of Acid blue (AB) in aqueous solution and the results showed that the Dy₂Sn₂O₇ had a sonocatalytic degradation rate of over 99.9%.
