Novel matrix metalloproteinase 2 (MMP2)-sensitive nanoparticles (NPs) are developed with copolymers of TPGS₃₃₅₀-pp-PLGA and TPGS-folate to overcome some drawbacks of traditional anticancer formulations in drug delivery, such as short circulation time in blood, small drug accumulation at the tumor site, low intracellular uptake, etc.
