Abstract
The crystal and molecular structure of the reaction product of (Ph3P)2C and Mn(CO)5Br, [Mn(CO)4(C2PPh3)Br], has been determined and the complex found to contain the unusual phosphonium acetylide, Ph3P+–CC:–.
