ASP9436 is an orally active and blood-brain barrier permeable PDE10A inhibitor with an IC50 of 8 nM against human PDE10A. ASP9436 attenuates locomotor activity in mouse hyperactivity models and ameliorates visual recognition memory impairment in neonatal mice. ASP9436 is applicable to research related to schizophrenia[1].

Dosage: 1, 3, 10, 30 mg/kg;0.0001, 0.0003, 0.001, 0.003 mg/kg (Neonatal mouse)
Administration: p.o., single administration
Result: Attenuated locomotor activityn, with an ED50 of 7.0 mg/kg.
Improved visual-recognition memory impairment in neonatal PCP-treated mice by the oral administration at 0.001 and 0.003 mg/kg in a novel object
recognition test (NORT).
