Palmostatin M is a Ras signaling modulator that targets acyl-protein thioesterase 1 (APT1) and 2 (APT2) in cells, with an IC50 of 2.5 nM for APT1. Palmostatin M interferes with the depalmitoylation cycle of Ras and downregulates the overall Ras signaling pathway. Palmostatin M can be used in cancer-related research[1].
