Dihydroxanthohumol is a chalcone found in Humulus lupulus L. Dihydroxanthohumol is a nitric oxide (NO) production inhibitor. Dihydroxanthohumol slightly suppresses LPS (HY-D1056)/IFN-γ-induced iNOS protein expression and NO production. Dihydroxanthohumol exhibits cytotoxicity at high concentrations[1].
