Glucomoringin, a structurally unusual glucosinolate found in seeds of Moringa oleifera Lam., is an antimicrobial agent. Glucomoringin permits to maximize it's power when bioactivated with myrosinase. Glucomoringin can be used for the research of bacterial infections[1].

Glucomoringin (1.52 mg/mL; 24 h) 经生物活化为 GMG-ITC 后可强效抑制 Staphylococcus aureus subsp. aureus ATCC BAA-977 (抑菌圈直径为 25 mm) 和 Enterococcus casseliflavus ATCC 700327 的生长，对 Staphylococcus aureus ATCC BAA-1026 无活性，且在体外不抑制 Candida albicans ATCC 14053 的生长[1]。
