IκB α is a key cellular regulator that inhibits NF-κ-B/REL complexes by sequestering them in the cytoplasm, thereby impeding nuclear translocation and transcriptional activation. It masks the nuclear localization signals of RELA/p65 and NFKB1/p50. IkB alpha Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived IkB alpha protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-His labeled tag. The total length of IkB alpha Protein, Human (His) is 316 a.a., with molecular weight of ~38 kDa.
