Thevefolic acid B is a plant secondary metabolite specific to the nectar of Cascabela thevetia. Thevefolic acid B can be used to identify mosquito host plants and control vector-borne diseases[1].

Thevefolic acid B (440 µM；自由采食式口服，每日给药，持续 3 天) 在摄入含药蔗糖溶液后的雄性和雌性 Cx. quinquefasciatus 及 An. coluzzii 体内均能被稳定检测到，每五只蚊虫样本的平均检测质量范围为 817.02 ng 至 1743.06 ng[1]。
Thevefolic acid B (口服；自由采食；12 小时) 来自 C. thevetia 的花蜜，在单株和多株取食试验中可在 An. coluzzii 的雄蚊和雌蚊体内被检测到，每 5 只蚊样本的平均检测重量范围为 475.56 ng 至 4743.96 ng[1]。
Thevefolic acid B (440 µM；口服；单次饱食餐) 在 Cx. quinquefasciatus 和 An. coluzzii 摄入饱食蔗糖餐后，可被检测到长达 8 小时，此后检测值显著下降[1]。

Dosage: 440 µM
Administration: oral; ad libitum daily; 3 days
Result: Detected average weight of 1743.06 ng in samples of five Cx. quinquefasciatus females.
Detected average weight of 817.02 ng in samples of five Cx. quinquefasciatus males.
Detected average weight of 1435.65 ng in samples of five An. coluzzii females.
Detected average weight of 1647.98 ng in samples of five An. coluzzii males.
Was detected in all female samples of both species and 4/5 male samples of both species.

Detected mean weight of 280 ng in female Cx. quinquefasciatus.
