U 95133 is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor. U 95133 exhibits activity against both wild-type and mutant HIV-1 reverse transcriptase. U 95133 can be used in studies related to HIV infection[1][2].

U 95133 (compound 16) (0-100 μM) 可强效抑制野生型 HIV-1 逆转录酶，其 IC50 为 2.2 μM，在 100 μM 浓度下抑制率达 98%[1]。
U 95133 可强效抑制人外周血单个核细胞中 HIV-1 的复制，其 ED50 为 <0.0001 μM[1]。
U 95133 (10 minutes) 对野生型 HIV-1 逆转录酶的抑制作用 IC50 为 0.50 μM，对 HIV-1 逆转录酶 P236L 的抑制作用 IC50 为 1.5 μM，对 HIV-1 逆转录酶 Y181C 的抑制作用 IC50 为 1.1 μM[1]。
U 95133 (4 days) 可强效抑制 MT4 细胞中野生型 HIV-1IIIB 的复制，其 IC90 为 0.02 μM，同时对多种耐 NNRTI 的 HIV-1 变异株表现出亚微摩尔级活性[2]。
