BRD2577 is a selective mercaptopyruvate sulfurtransferase (3-MST) inhibitor with an IC50 of 9.9 μM. BRD2577 inhibits H2S production in colon carcinoma cells. BRD2577 exhibits weak to no significant inhibitory effect on colon cancer cell proliferation and mitochondrial activity. BRD2577 can be used for the research of colon cancer[1].

BRD2577 (Compound 13a) (3-300 μM; 1 h) 可强效抑制重组人源 3-MST，其 IC50 为 9.9 μM，且在 100 μM 时抑制率 ≥60%，在最高 300 μM 的浓度下对人重组 CBS 或 CSE 无活性[1]。

BRD2577 (300 μM；4 h) 可抑制活小鼠 CT26 和 MC38 结肠癌细胞中 H2S 的生成[1]。
BRD2577 (3-300 μM; 48 h) 在处理 48 h 后，浓度高达 300 μM 时也未显著抑制小鼠 CT26 或 MC38 结肠癌细胞的增殖[1]。

Concentration: 3, 10, 30, 100, 300 μM
Incubation Time: 48 h
Result: Did not significantly inhibit CT26 or MC38 cell proliferation at tested concentrations.
Showed an IC50 values were >1000 μM for both cell lines.
